What is a Caregiver?
A caregiver is anyone who
provides help to another
person in need, but the term
most commonly refers to a
family member, neighbor, or
friend caring for someone
requiring help with basic daily
tasks while living with a long-
term illness, complications
from a fall, or a condition like
dementia. Caregiving reaches
all socioeconomic levels and
cultures, and most individuals
can expect to be a caregiver
at least once in their lifetime. What People are Saying
““I've known and worked with Kim for better than 6 years while she was working in senior communities and in her current position as founder of Senior Holistic Living and host of The Caregiver Hour. Kim has found the perfect blend of her depth of knowledge and her desire to help others. She has used her life lessons to help others gain back some sense of their lives. Through her sensitivity and expertise she has developed a way to help caregivers throughout the country feel better about themselves and their situations, so that they may take better care of their loved ones. She has become a conduit for information and a shoulder to cry on. Her biggest asset is her passion for sharing her knowledge and her ability to do so in an effective manner. Kim truly practices what she preaches and in a way that soothes and inspires. I would recommend Kim as a source of information to anyone who is looking to add more compassion to their practice/business, who needs help structuring a business using a holistic model, or who is looking for a guide for living their own lives with greater grace.” December 18, 2010”by Mary Rikkers, Advertising Sales Manager, GOLDMAN GROUP PUBLISHING COMPANY
