“Your show Monday was great!!!!! As a listener I must tell you a story related to gardening: As you know, my dad has been ok but with much less stamina than in his younger days. When Father’s Day rolled around I offered a gift: that my son(s) and I would come down and do some gardening chores that he was unable to do. He was thrilled! We went, we planted (with his seated supervision) and he was so very happy. He mentioned how grateful he was over and over. Still he talks about how happy he is to have those azaleas in that bed in the front yard and how he thought he’d never be able to get it done. Needless to say, the whole project and his reaction gave both my son and I an incredible sense of satisfaction that we had really given him something special. We were also very grateful to have been able to help him in such a meaningful way. Keep up the good work on the show. I’ll hear you are the airwaves!”
